이만열 교수님, 미국하원 의원 초청 강연회 준비는 잘 되어 가고 있습니다. 아주 빠듯한 시간 동안 하느라 힘들었지만 재정이나 함께 도울 사람들이 차츰 되어 가고 있습니다.
한국사람들이 미국에서 그냥 한 모퉁이에만 있는 것이 아니라 점차 사회적 영향을 행사하고 중심에 서도록 하는 일에 이 행사가 도움이 되기를 바라며 준비하고 있습니다. 한국과 미국사이에 서로간의 우정을 높이는 데 많은 도움이 되기를 바라고요.
너무 지나치게 집중하고 스트레스를 받는 습관이 아직도 다 나아지지 않은 모양입니다. 불안감도 많은데, 생각해 보니, 하나님이 내게 주신 것 이상으로 지나친 완벽추구가 원인인 것 같습니다. 행복한 마음으로 잘 준비할 수 있도록 기도해 주십시오.

미국과 한국에 대한 이야기와 기도
The Korean Church and America have played important roles for democracy in Korea. We will listen to stories about Korea and America and pray for them. Over one thousand pictures from a former US army chaplain will be donated to the Korean government. We want to invite veterans with Korean service, their families, and other US and Korean citizens. Please join us.
한국의 발전에 교회와 미국의 역할은 중요하였습니다. 한국인과 미국인 특히 한국에서 군대복무를 한 미국 시민들을 한자리에 모시고 두 나라의 이야기를 들으며 기도하는 시간을 가지려고 합니다. 미국 군목께서 한국전쟁 때 찍은 사진 1천장을 한국정부에 기증하는 시간도 있습니다. 바쁘시더라도 꼭 참석해 주십시오.

지금까지도 여러 많은 사역들을 훌륭하게 감당해내신 오빠잖아요.
슬슬 하셔도 좋은 결과가 있을거예요. 게다가 하나님께서 늘 동행하시니까요.
한국 전쟁 기념 행사나, 이번 일 모두 뒤에서 도우시는 역할을 하신건데,
이 일을 잘 마무리하시고 전면에서 사역하실 오빠를 기대하겠습니다.
하나님께서 어느 곳에 어떤 식으로 부르셔서 사용하실지 그 하나님을 기대하겠습니다.
